Take a look at our September 2019 Newsletter!

Introduction from Neil Shepherd, Managing Director of the 33 Group.

Over the past couple of months or so we have made great progress on our developments at Westcliff House, Westgate and at 237 Ramsgate Road, Margate as well as invites to tender for new projects for our fit-out division 33 London – and of course we continue to look for other new commercial projects so if you do have anything please let us know. enquiries@33group.co.uk

Having heard that the recent slowness in fit out work in the City is still being put down to the uncertainty over Brexit It seems that the pessimism has been lifted a little as over the past few weeks we have been really busy with new enquiries and invitations to tender for fit out and refurbishment projects in the centre of London. Some of these have come from our old clients but equally from some new ones. It does seem that companies are fed up with putting projects on hold and are now looking at getting things moving and are looking at getting ready for changes to start early in the New Year – regardless as to what happens with Brexit.

At 237 and 239, Ramsgate Road, Margate we have continued to make great progress.

Our first block at 239, Ramsgate Road, Margate (shown above and below) has been completed and is now fully occupied with happy tenants all of whom seem delighted with the quality of their new surroundings.

Our second block at 237, Ramsgate Road, has progressed at a good pace and is now getting near to completion and will allow the internal works to start in coming weeks.

As can be seen from the pictures below at Westcliff House, Westgate huge progress has been made. Work has continued at a good pace and we are ahead of schedule.

All of the steel works and slab have been completed on the East extension along with 80% of the brickwork. Much the same on the South extension with all the steel works and slab complete and progressing well with the DPC brickwork.

Over the next month we will be starting the underground drainage on the South extension, finishing the brickwork on the East extension and we will finish applying the fire-resistant paint to all of the steel works.

Property Search

We continue to look for land or buildings throughout Kent and the South East close to the High-Speed train links suitable for us to develop or refurbish into approximately 10-50 units at a time. Ideally, we would like opportunities where we can purchase options on the sites and undertake the risk element of planning etc ourselves. Please contact us on enquiries@33group.co.uk

Our other area of interest continues to be in, and around, the two university campuses in Canterbury for plots/conversions to build circa 20 - 40 units with a focus on us providing high end student accommodation aimed at the foreign student accommodation.
